dbb youth
Competent and strong – dbb youth is the youth organization of the dbb civil servants' association and with its 150.000 members one of the biggest youth associations in Germany. It defends the interests of young workers in the public service and privatized sectors such as the railroads and postal services. Whether they are civil servants or employees, all public service workers from the ages of 16 to 27 are in safe hands with dbb youth.
One for all – dbb youth is the interest group for all the young workers in the public service and the privatized sectors. What is more, dbb youth is also a force in terms of social policy. Topics like the environment, education, European affairs and the challenge of globalization are on its agenda.
Continued training and communication are important issues. dbb youth offers its members seminars on all kinds of social topics, and also the development of individual skills such as the art of speaking and appearing in public. Moreover, it organizes international exchanges with young public employees in other countries, for example the USA, the Baltic Republics, Russia and Taiwan.
